Chatmode is a low-pressure social meetup for school-aged kids who stutter and their families.

It is not therapy. It is not about fixing speech. It is a safe, friendly space where kids can meet others who get it, build confidence and feel less alone.

Meetups are simple and social — games, chats, activities and community.

For school-aged children 7+ in Perth who stutter, plus their parents or carers.

Whether your child has recently started stuttering or has been stuttering for years, they are welcome here.

Who it’s for

A lot of kids who stutter have never met another kid who stutters.

That can make stuttering feel bigger, lonelier and harder than it needs to be. This group exists to help kids see they are not the only one — and to give families a place to connect too.
